Provide on-site repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, and preventive maintenance for machine tools, sheet metal processing machines, laser cutting machines, bending machines, machining centers, welding robots, automation systems, measuring equipment, and related industrial machineryReceive and respond to customer service requests and investigate equipment failures on-siteDiagnose faults by reviewing error codes, alarm history, machine logs, photos, videos, and other technical informationInspect electrical and control components, including sensors, relays, contactors, inverters, switches, and I/O devicesReplace standard electrical parts and consumables, and perform basic inspections of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsSupport manufacturer engineers during on-site repair and maintenance activitiesExplain failure analysis, repair progress, and follow-up actions to Japanese customersCoordinate technical discussions with Vietnamese customers and internal teamsCommunicate with manufacturers in Japan, Vietnam, and other countries regarding technical inquiriesPrepare and organize technical information, including fault reports, photos, videos, and error logs for manufacturersCoordinate engineer dispatch schedules, customer site access, service appointments, and replacement partsCompile technical information required for service quotationsPrepare service reports and maintenance documentationProvide simple progress updates in both Japanese and EnglishTrack open service cases, response deadlines, repair history, replaced parts, root causes, and preventive actionsReport major equipment failures and long-term unresolved issues to management in a timely mannerUpdate service records using the company's internal system Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldLanguage: JLPT N2 or above (or equivalent) with the ability to communicate technical matters, explain service work, and prepare simple reports in JapaneseExperience: At least 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery, machine tools, automation systems, or factory equipmentAbility to read English technical manuals and proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, with a solid understanding of electrical components, PLC I/O, and basic control circuitsAbility to perform first-level troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using standard testing equipmentHands-on work experience in Japan, with a good understanding of Japanese work practices, reporting procedures (Hou-Ren-Sou), and experience working with Japanese customers, supervisors, or colleaguesWillingness to travel to customer sites and provide support during emergencies or outside regular working hours when requiredAble to maintain accurate service records, submit reports promptly, and proactively escalate technical issuesPreferable Skill/ Experience: Experience servicing machine tools such as laser cutting machines, punching machines, bending machines, machining centers, or NC lathesExperience with FANUC controllers, FANUC robots, collaborative robots, or PLC programmingExperience in equipment maintenance for a Japanese manufacturing companyExperience troubleshooting PLCs, servo systems, inverters, sensors, and safety circuitsExperience in machine installation, commissioning, accuracy testing, or operator trainingExperience preparing service reports in Japanese and communicating with manufacturers in EnglishExperience developing preventive maintenance plans, equipment records, or spare parts inventoriesValid driver's licenseNotice: Thank you for your interest in career opportunities at RGF.
