The Job

Lead the architecture, development, and delivery of LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows for financial services use cases.

Own key technical decisions involving model selection, retrieval design, workflow architecture, integration, cost, and latency.

Build evaluation and regression-testing approaches and use output, trace, and failure analysis to improve solution quality.

Ensure solutions meet production requirements for reliability, security, observability, data protection, and auditability.

Translate business, risk, and compliance requirements into practical technical solutions with client and internal stakeholders.

Mentor engineers and establish reusable AI engineering standards, patterns, and development practices.

Your Skills and Experience

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

6+ years of professional software or AI engineering experience, including recent hands-on experience delivering Generative AI applications to production.

Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals, including system design, APIs, testing, debugging, and technical documentation.

Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and data-grounding techniques.

Experience designing agentic workflows with tool calling and at least one major AI framework such as LangChain,  LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.

Experience with AI evaluation, error analysis, regression testing, tracing, and production monitoring.

Practical experience with cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD, databases, and production observability.

Understanding of AI security risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, access control, and guardrails.

Practical knowledge of banking, fintech, payments, lending, risk, compliance, or another financial-services domain.

Experience leading or mentoring engineers, working with client stakeholders, and communicating effectively in English.

Nice to Have

Knowledge graphs, semantic layers, multi-agent systems, MCP, or multimodal AI.

Fine-tuning, model optimization, self-hosted LLMs, or large-scale cost and latency optimization.

AI governance, model risk, explainability, audit trails, KYC, or AML-related experience.

Kubernetes or experience supporting technical presales and estimation.
