As a Data Analyst at Crossian, you’ll turn business questions into insights, decisions, and measurable outcomes. Working across the full eCommerce funnel, you’ll tackle challenges spanning customer acquisition, marketing performance, conversion, retention, finance, and post-sale operations. Your work will help shape product improvements, marketing strategies, and operational decisions, with a direct impact on how the business grows and operates.

Data Analysis & Insights

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across the eCommerce customer journey. Develop hypotheses and generate actionable insights to improve customer experience, identify opportunities to optimize the conversion funnel and support experimentation (A/B testing).

Analyze key business metrics including traffic, conversion rate (CR), average order value (AOV), retention, revenue, customer lifetime value (CLV), risk and loss metrics(dispute, refund, replace), inventory levels, and production performance.

Identify key drivers impacting product performance, marketing effectiveness, and financial metrics to support data-driven business decisions.

Dashboard & BI Development:

Act as a BI consultant for cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations) to design and develop dashboards and reporting solutions that support business decision-making.

Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards and automated reports to monitor key business metrics, financial performance, and conversion funnels.

Translate business requirements into scalable data models, metrics definitions, and visualization frameworks.

Data Management & Integration:

Define and maintain data structures, data models, and metric definitions to ensure consistency across analytics and reporting.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across BI dashboards and reporting systems.

Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to design scalable data pipelines and event tracking frameworks.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Content, Product, Finance, and Operations to understand data requirements and support data-driven decision-making.

Your Skills and Experience

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree preferred in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar analytical role.

Technical Skills:

Good understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts. Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Hands-on experience with BI tools such as QuickSight ,Power BI, or Looker.

Experience using Python for data analysis and automation (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib)

Data Analysis

Experience performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights

Experience with A/B testing and experimentation analysis, analyzing eCommerce metrics such as conversion rate, AOV, retention, and customer lifetime value
