Your Skills and Experience Technical Skills:Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.Strong academic foundation in C/C++, understanding of basic CS principles, and an eagerness to learn under senior mentorship.Ability to write clean C/C++ code, handle Linux environments, and debug issues with guidance.Clear understanding of client-server architectures and how data flows over a network.Strong knowledge of networking concepts, particularly the TCP/IP stack.Fundamental understanding of multi-threading concepts, race conditions, and synchronization (e.g., mutexes, semaphores).Familiarity with the Linux environment and comfort using basic command-line tools.Soft Skills & Mindset:A highly analytical, logical, and disciplined approach to problem-solving and debugging.Curiosity to understand how things work "under the hood" (at the OS and hardware level).Good communication skills and a strong team player attitude.Nice-to-Haves (Bonus)Experience with debugging/profiling tools (e.g., GDB, Valgrind, Wireshark, htop).Experience with shell scripting (Bash) or Python.Knowledge of embedded systems or RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems).
