The Job

We are looking for a motivated Java Backend Intern to join our engineering team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in backend development, work with modern Java technologies, and collaborate with experienced software engineers in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using Java.

Support the implementation of backend features using Spring Boot and related Spring technologies.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.

Assist in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting backend applications.

Collaborate with backend developers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software.

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Learn and apply modern software development practices, including Git, Docker, and CI/CD.

Your Skills and Experience

Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Familiarity with Spring Boot or other Spring Framework technologies is a plus.

Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Basic knowledge of Git.

Strong willingness to learn, good analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Good English communication skills, especially reading technical documentation.
