Legal & Compliance Supervisor

Contract Management and Legal Support: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and alignment with business objectives; provide legal advice to business teams on day-to-day operations and commercial arrangements; participate in key business decisions to assess and mitigate legal risks.Corporate and Regulatory Affairs: Handle company registration, changes to corporate legal information, and corporate governance matters in Vietnam; liaise with government authorities and ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Compliance and Internal Controls: Drive and support the development of the company’s compliance framework; review and improve policies, SOPs, and internal control procedures from a legal perspective; ensure legal and regulatory risks are incorporated into business operations; monitor the implementation of compliance programs across departments.Dispute and Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks arising from day-to-day operations and provide practical and actionable legal advice; support the handling of disputes, claims, and legal proceedings; coordinate with external law firms and legal advisors to ensure matters are effectively managed.External Counsel Management: Manage and coordinate external law firms to ensure cost-effective and high-quality legal support; monitor the performance, progress, and deliverables of external legal counsel.Legal Administration and Document Management: Manage the company seal, including registration, safekeeping, and control of its use; maintain and archive contracts and legal documents to ensure accuracy, proper recordkeeping, and traceability.Intellectual Property: Handle intellectual property matters, including registration, protection, and other related activities as required. Bachelor’s degree or above in Law or a related field.3–5 years of relevant legal experience, including experience in an in-house legal department or a law firm.Strong knowledge of Vietnamese laws and regulations, particularly labor law and corporate law.Good knowledge and practical understanding of compliance, internal controls, and corporate governance.Experience in the manufacturing industry or a multinational company is preferred.Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Fluent in English or Chinese for business purposes; candidates who are able to work effectively in a bilingual environment are preferred.
