Process Engineer Japanese SMT PCB manufacturing plant

POSITION: Process Engineer SECTION/GROUP: BEA Engineering

REPORTS TO: Engineering Supervisor JOB LEVEL: 4-1

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for line optimization, preparation, productivity, and quality improvement. Also includes designing, implementing, and controlling work processes.

Participates in the development, formulation, and implementation of processes and standard operating procedures according to international standards and customer specifications. Submits output for approval for implementation.

Performs evaluation and analysis of methods for quality and productivity concerns.

Provides data with first-level analysis to Production/QA/Planning for further analysis towards improvement (includes monitoring and feedback of abnormalities).

Facilitates meetings Interpretation and analysis of identified quality issue/s.

Verifies the conduct of Planning for Product Realization and its implementation.

Prepares inspection items and criteria Prepares work instructions, inspection templates, and other documents.

Process documentation and standardization Knowledge of technical aspects of production operations

Represents the company in customer process audits

Conducts performance evaluation, coaching, discipline, and training work schedules of subordinates.

Conducts Troubleshooting of products.

Follows, implements, and maintains the Quality Management procedures of the company. Ensures proper housekeeping within the area of responsibility.

Engineering Graduate (Preferably Industrial Engineer)

With at least 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer or Production Engineer (Senior Process Engineer is an advantage)

Knowledgeable in process improvement

Proficient in root cause analysis and problem-solving

Knowledgeable in PFMEA and Quality Control Tools

Work schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Saturday work depends on Production; [7:00 - 4:00], sometimes this may happen.

[Manufacturing support positions] Applicants may be required to work overtime or on weekends and holidays. As of now, we don’t have a night shift; however, if our production peaks, we may consider two shifts, so their schedule may change.
