Purchasing supervisor

1.1 Supply Delivery Schedule Management

Monitor the entire procurement process from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) and delivery progress.

Coordinate with relevant departments and suppliers to ensure that raw materials and other required materials are delivered on schedule to support production operations.

Proactively handle or propose solutions for delayed deliveries or any issues that may affect the production plan.

1.2 Supplier Development and Management

Identify, source, and develop new suppliers who meet the Company's requirements.

Collect supplier information, catalogues, and material samples, and coordinate with the Production Engineering & Quality departments to evaluate material quality.

Compare quotations, commercial terms, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, and other relevant conditions to select suitable suppliers.

Conduct periodic evaluations of supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, and service.

Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, discounts, payment terms, and other commercial conditions to optimize purchasing costs.

1.3 Report and other tasks assinged by Manager

1.1 Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

1.2 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement within a manufacturing environment. Experience in wood furniture manufacturing, interior products, or export-oriented manufacturing companies is preferred.

1.3 Professional Competencies

Strong skills in sourcing, evaluating, and developing suppliers.

Ability to analyze quotations and negotiate commercial terms.

1.4 Language Skills: Ability to communicate and use English effectively in a work environment.

1.5 Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

1.6 Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to handle issues related to supply delivery schedules, material quality, and supplier performance.

Strong analytical thinking and ability to propose cost-effective solutions to ensure efficient purchasing operations.
