Sales Manager

Job overview and responsibility

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets and business objectives

Identify, prospect and acquire new clients whilst maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts

Lead and mentor a sales team to ensure high performance and professional development

Manage key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for major clients

Prepare sales proposals, quotations and presentations tailored to client needs

Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to secure profitable business deals

Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer feedback to inform sales strategy

Monitor sales performance metrics, forecast pipeline and report on progress against targets

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations and technical departments to support sales initiatives

Attend industry events and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads

Required skills and experiences

Must have a Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a sales management or senior sales role, preferably within industrial, technical or engineering sectors

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth

Strong account and relationship management skills with the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions

Experience managing and developing sales teams to high performance standards

Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a consultative selling approach

Strong communication and presentation abilities in both written and verbal formats

Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools

Bachelor's degree or Master in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Willingness to travel within the region as required
