The Job

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Security & Compliance Officer with experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) which will works closely with relevant departments to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal security policies and industry standards.

Implement, review, maintain information security policies, procedures, standards & guidelines in alignment with business objectives and security requirements.

Monitor information security regulations & industry standards to identify compliance obligations and potential gaps.

Conduct periodic security compliance assessments & internal reviews, document findings and track remediation actions.

Support information security risk assessments to identify, evaluate & document potential risks and control weaknesses.

Participate in security reviews for new projects, applications, infrastructure changes and third-party services to ensure that applicable security requirements.

Develop and deliver information security awareness training to employees.

Support security incident tracking, documentation and follow-up activities.

Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, regulatory updates and best practices.

Ad-hoc tasks or projects from time to time assigned by Line Manager / Block Head.

Your Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of work experience in IT risk, information security within financial industry.

Understanding of information security principles, IT infrastructure and cloud environments.

Understanding of data protection including personal data handling and data security controls.

Familiarity with security standards (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST) or regulatory requirements in the securities industry.

Familiarity with applying AI tools to improve work efficiency, documentation, reporting is an advantage.

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security challenges.

Good analytical, documentation, communication and problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Information Security certifications are a plus.
