Senior Accountant

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5–8 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Experience in trading, import-export, or Japanese-affiliated companies, with knowledge of cross-border transactions.

Knowledge of Philippine tax compliance, including BIR regulations, VAT, withholding taxes, and eFPS.

Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).

Proficiency in using ERP systems.

Accounting Team Leadership: Lead the accounting team, oversee daily operations, assign tasks, and manage team performance.

Financial Operations: Review and approve invoices, payments, remittances, and reconciliations; oversee monthly and year-end closing.

Import and Trade Accounting: Handle landed costs, customs documentation, import duties, VAT on importation, commission income, and triangular trade transactions.

International Transactions: Manage foreign remittances, multicurrency transactions, foreign exchange gains and losses, cross-border withholding taxes, and intercompany transactions.

Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare PFRS financial statements and reports for the Japan head office, ensure BIR compliance, and coordinate with external auditors.
