Sourcing & Procurement Specialist

Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers to ensure they meet the company’s quality, cost, and delivery requirementsDevelop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity for goods and servicesManage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing and issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely receipt of goods and servicesNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or complianceAnalyze total cost of ownership and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.Evaluate supplier capability in terms of capacity, quality, technical compliance, and delivery performance.Work closely with internal stakeholders such as NPI, production, planning, quality, and finance teams to understand requirementsParticipate in supplier audits, support internal and external quality investigations when needed.Maintain supplier database, records of quotations, and sourcing reportsEnsure all procurement and sourcing activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related fieldA certification or diploma in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing would be an advantage.Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Fluent in other languages would be a plus.Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, standards, and industry and market trends.Proven track record of developing and executing successful procurement strategies and achieving cost savings and efficiency goals.Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, tools, and software.Knowledge of contract management and legal aspects of procurement.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
