Production Planning Assistant Manager

BROAD FUNCTION | GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to prepare the production schedule identifying detailed resources requirement, coordinate with internal department properly and update all planning documentation in accordance with BITG’s procedure for smooth operation, which aims to catch up all shipment order. Responsible for preparing production schedules with all necessary resources fully identified, coordinating with production departments, and updating all production planning documents/reports according to BITG’s procedures to ensure smooth operations and fulfill all shipment orders. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES | DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate with the BIHQ and merchandise team regarding capacity planning and demand fulfillment. Coordinate with BIHQ and the Merchandiser team on planning according to production capacity and order demand. Strong ability to understand and query information in the server as well as communicate production plan to interested parties. Able to clearly understand and organize information on the system and communicate production planning information to relevant parties. Understanding well of purchasing, planning, scheduling, inventory management process in order to get enough resources/information for planning. Understand purchasing, planning, and inventory management processes well to obtain sufficient information for production planning. Manage capacity planning to arrange production schedule. Responsible to communicate with related parties for them to arrange schedule, so that ensure smooth process from raw material warehousing to shipping. Manage production capacity tracking effectively to prepare production plans. Responsible for communicating with relevant parties so they can arrange their schedules, ensuring a stable process from receiving raw materials and accessories into the warehouse to shipping. Understanding of load, capacity of production site. Cooperate with production team to update bottlenecks in the production environment as well as risky point in production planning, so that, can prepare production plan that conforming to actual situation. Understand production productivity clearly. Coordinate with the production team to update weaknesses on production lines and risks in the prepared plans, enabling production schedules that match actual conditions. Coordinates activities between material control and production departments, then updating schedule if any necessary. Coordinate with material control and production, then update production plans if necessary. Balances quality, productivity, and cost and shipment safety to achieve positive results in all areas. Ensure SAGE (wo), PDCS, FR & TAP system are updated on time Ensure timely updates on the SAGE (WO), PDCS, FR, TAP systems. Ensure 3rd party suppliers (printing/embroidery) send materials back on time to ensure production schedule is met Ensure 3rd party suppliers (printing / embroidery) return materials on time to meet production schedules. Ensure production follow plan which was committed to customer Ensure production follows the plan committed to customers. Handling BITG' portion of capacity plan report. Present BITG’s capacity planning report. At least 7 years of relevant experience at garment facility At least 7 years of experience at garment manufacturing facilities.
