Restaurant Manager in Vũng Tàu, Biên Hòa, Hồ Chí Minh

Your role & responsibilities Duty 1: Manage restaurant business operations Develop plans and organize implementation to meet assigned revenue and profit targets. Coordinate with relevant departments to develop and implement marketing and communication plans for the restaurant. Implement and supervise promotional programs, special offers, and the use of the restaurant's brand identity system. Represent the restaurant in resolving customer incidents that subordinate staff cannot resolve. Represent the restaurant in working with government agencies and local organizations related to the restaurant and managing these relationships. Coordinate with relevant departments to develop standards for evaluating food and beverage quality, service procedures, hygiene, and other aspects of the restaurant. Duty 2: Control costs and budgets Implement approved financial plans to meet revenue and profit targets. Receive daily income and expenditure reports from departments and monitor these reports. Periodically coordinate with relevant departments to compile statistics, prepare financial reports for the restaurant, and submit them to superiors. Duty 3: Manage assets and goods Regularly monitor purchasing, maintain minimum inventory levels for the restaurant, and adjust usage allowances as appropriate. Oversee periodic maintenance and servicing of restaurant machinery and equipment, and arrange repairs when breakdowns occur. Be responsible for replacing and adding equipment, machinery, furnishings, tools, and utensils for the restaurant's business operations. Duty 4: Build the staff team Develop staffing levels, job descriptions, salary structures, and other staffing arrangements for all employees in the restaurant chain under your management. Build a strong team in both quality and quantity: participate in recruitment and training, and lead employee development programs. Manage training and coaching for successor staff. Duty 5: Other related duties Build good relationships with agencies, organizations, local authorities, and others. Directly represent the restaurant in resolving related matters within your authority. Perform other duties as assigned and requested by the Head of Operations. Report regularly (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) or on an ad hoc basis to the Head of Operations on the restaurant's business performance. Your skills & qualifications College diploma or university degree, preferably in Restaurant and Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related fields. At least 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, including at least 1 year as an assistant restaurant manager or equivalent. Knowledge of restaurant business models. Understanding of the F&B market and competitors. Thorough knowledge of restaurant operating procedures and service standards. Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and ingredient storage. Experience organizing, coordinating, and managing teams in a restaurant environment. Team leadership skills and the ability to organize and delegate work effectively. Flexible, professional communication and problem-solving skills when dealing with customers and employees. Effective planning and management skills for goods and ingredients. Proficiency in office software (MS Office) and POS systems. Efficiency - Integrity - Professionalism. A customer-centric attitude, a strong understanding of customers, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure. Foreign language skills are an advantage.
